Membership Eligibility

An applicant must submit an online application requesting membership, be recommended for membership by a TCHEA member and have attended at least one meeting as a guest before they shall be offered into nomination for membership.   Membership shall be established in the Association upon an affirmative vote of a majority of those members present at a regular meeting.

TCHEA monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.  Majority of the meeting are held at Fort Snelling Officer's Club.

Regular Member
Membership in the Association shall be available to individuals who are active in the field of healthcare maintenance and engineering and/or in the related disciplines, e.g., clinical engineering, safety engineering hospital, nursing home and extended care facility engineering or maintenance.

Associate Member
Individuals who are actively engaged in a service or trade directly related to healthcare engineering, including design, construction or product sales.  Associate Members shall enjoy all of the rights and privileges of a regular member with two (2) exceptions:
- They shall not have the right to hold elective office.
- They shall not have the right to vote for officers.
